Food is amazing! Always get a healthy portion, an the food is always hot, and the service now always great!

Had the best experience because I got to order what I wanted & the waitress and chief did it up just right. YUMMY!

Had the little mikey breakfast, it was delicious, place is rustic and Country , the wait staff was courteous and helpful. Although I enjoy my eating experience , I don't have an overwhelming desire to return again soon, that's just my opinion. But it was definitely worth trying.

Best breakfast in Haslett and all of East Lansing! Super friendly service, great food, great portions. The Jolly Green Giant omelette is the best maybe in the whole world!!!

Love this place!! Huge portions of excellent food for a reasonable price. Very friendly waitstaff and quick service. Pancakes and the pumpkin bread are wonderful. Never had a bad experience dinning there.

My daughter and I came here on a Saturday morning and the wait was only about 20 minutes. Some reviews reported "outstanding" and "best ever" type descriptions of the food, I found it to be average good. My daughter had the "Lil Mikey" her entire plate was cold, as well as her pancakes. I had an asparagus omelet, which was hot. Overall, great service and good food.

If I could give more stars I would. They thanked us for still ordering right now and the food was still fantastic by time we got it home. Thank you and remember to support local!

Not impressed. Food came out shortly after we ordered and was cold. Must be premade up burritos they half warm up.

Their chicken and waffles deserve one star but my friends meals (corned beef hash & farmers omellete) deserve four stars and a trip back. If you like kids meal chicken strips and made from the box flavorless waffles, get it. Otherwise get something else.

Food is excellent! Service is fast and you get a lot of food for a low cost! If there's a line it doesnt take long for you to be served. The longest we've had to wait is 20 minutes. The quality and price for the food is worth the wait.

my son and me enjoyed a fantastic breakfast 2day at Blondies Barn in Haslett, Michigan. our food was outstanding. My son ordered the "Little Mikie" combo which includes eggs, 2 meats, pancakes, hash browns. it is not "little." the portions are huge. i enjoyed the best oatmeal i've ever eaten at any restaurant. our server, Tessa, was very friendly and professional. all the servers at Blondies are great. i live in Haslett and frequent Blondies often. i strongly recommend Blondies. they are locally owned and operated. take a break from the national chains and check out Blondies. Always incredible food, but be prepared to wait on weekends if you show up during regular brunch times (~830am-1130am).

Great service, food, and prices.

I try and support local. Menu hasnt changed in 20 years but food is good. I do think it has slipped from early years. Biggest complaints: Parking lot is all holes, dirty around building, inside dirty and worn. Ripped seats, wall need paint, floors are worn. Time to spruce place up.

Blondie's Barn is the quintessential country breakfast nook but almost in the city. Tucked behind a Marathon station, you'd hardly know it was there. But the little parking lot was packed at 10:00 A.M. and I learned first hand why. The Johnny Reb was amazing. Perfect sunny side up eggs. Excellent home fries. Tasty sausage links. But the sausage gravy was the star. Fluffy biscuits slathered with excellent sausage gravy. Obviously this wasn't an out of the box or bag gravy. Excellent taste. Plenty of sausage, but finely chunked. Just the right amount of black pepper. The biscuits really soaked up gravy. My in-laws had a breakfast with pancakes, which were large enough to fill a serving platter! Definitely a place to visit if you are in Okemos, East Lansing, or Haslett. I subtract 0.25 star for parking, with a score of 9.75 on a 10. Great experience. I will be back!🙂

Loved it for breakfast, fyi the breakfast burrito is enormous. And i had to edit this review because I recieved the bill and it is much lower than other places for better food.

Excellent Place for Breakfast and at a decent price....You get your $ worth .

If you're a meat lover, this is the best place to satisfy that craving. I'd recommend either the country scramble or Manuel scramble.

Had the Mexican burrito. Was very tasty. Reasonably priced traditional breakfast fare but also offered some unique twists of their own. Very friendly service and nice atmosphere once inside.

Lots of choices and it was packed full on Saturday mid morning. I had a sugar daddy coffee and the little Mikey for my meal. I personally didn't care for my food. My coffee was good but about a hour later I had a crashing feeling like I get after drinking coffee from biggby. The ham had quite a bit of grizzle, some potatoes were undercooked and the eggs were just okay. I really enjoyed the bacon and pancakes. I gave 4 stars because my finace had the manuels scrambled and loved it. I would go back and try something else. It was busy so it must be good and I just had a little bad luck that day.

The food tasted like product cleaner was in it. There was a fly flying around so it was hard to enjoy my food. When asked about getting the fly out the waitress responded "it's alot of them getting in". I was grateful for the guy behind the counter cooking,he at least looked for a fly swatter and stated that he would be buying one today. This is a nice restaurant so give it a try. I'm pretty sure your experience will be better than mines.

All 3 times I've been here they have never failed to impress me. Quality and quantity on point everytime. My fav is the sugar daddy coffee and the Dutch style country breakfast. Today we went for take out only to support them, and feed our cravings and they once again did NOT dissapoint! The taste was perfect and presentation was amazing!!!! I'm back after traveling for a month and Blondie's is as great as always. Another delicious JGG omelette with sausage gravy over it and the awesome hash browns. My wife's custom omelette is pictures too.Older reviews below:Ok I got another Jolly Green Giant this time with home style potatoes covered in sausage gravy. Service was super friendly and professional at the same time. The food is delicious! Nice wifi too, great place to start your day for sure.My earlier review is below and my second visit is just as sweet. Blondie's is the bomb!OMG this is my favorite breakfast place! Great service, great prices, great food, old dinner atmosphere, and super strong wifi.

Reuben is awesome, Philly steak and Patty melt not so much. Really nice size burgers too!

I don't like to give 5 stars because that sets a low bar for expectations. But I'll be darned if this place didn't earn all five. Not only was the service and good quick despite being busy, but the prices were great and the portions huge. We tried to find something not tasty, but it was all excellent.The potatoes were super tasty and didn't require ketchup. The pumpkin bread was moist and not overpowering. The Dutch Pancake with apple was bomb. I would definitely come back.

I went in to this restaurant and seeing reviews from family and. Friends I expected a lot better from this homestyle restaurant. The service was fine but the food was absolutely horrible. I had a breakfast sampler including eggs, bacon, sausage, ham, pancakes and hash browns. Unless you like cheese these eggs are not for you. I will admit the sausage and bacon was good. But the ham was awful mine was cold on the inside. Both pancakes were over cooked and tasted and felt like hockey pucks. The hash browns were crispy on the outside but mushy and cold on the inside. To conclude I left hungry and with a bad taste in my mouth

We arrived Sunday on MSU homecoming weekend just before 10am. Had about a 20 minute wait to be seated. Water was brought out quickly and drink orders were taken. Drinks came out in minutes and our food order was taken. Took maybe 5 minutes for our food to arrive and we were not disappointed!!! HUGE portions, delicious food, and very reasonable prices! We will be back!

See I would recommend it but that would mean more people would come and its so good I kinda dont want other people to know about it they should open another small one on campus call it blondie's coop or shed.

Blondie's has the best pancakes you can find in a restaurant. Their other options are also great - the pumpkin bread is bigger than you think it is. Their hash browns are creamy and well seasoned and even their toast leaves an impression.

Blondie's Barn offers great breakfast foods in a warm atmosphere. Their pancakes are delicious and coffee is perfect. I had their BLT omelette once and it was really good. There is plentiful seating for large groups and the service is quick and prompt.
